MyoFitness visits aged care facilities across Melbourne to provide remedial massage, relaxation massage and dry needling to residents in their own home. Residents are treated on-site, so there is no need for anyone to travel. We come to you, set up, and work through residents to a schedule that suits your facility. All we ask is that you provide a quiet, private room where treatments can take place undisturbed. We bring our own massage table, our own fresh towels and linen, and everything else we need for treatment.

Aged care on-site package

$160 per hour, per practitioner — minimum booking of 5 hours per visit. Travel costs are included and all prices are inclusive of GST.

Each treatment runs for 30 minutes, so a single practitioner can treat up to 10 residents across a 5-hour visit. From $800 per visit for a 5-hour minimum booking. Need more residents seen at once? Book additional practitioners for the same visit.

What we bring, and what your facility provides

We bring everything

Our own portable massage table, fresh clean towels and linen for every resident, oils, dry needling supplies, sanitiser and all equipment required for treatment. Your facility does not need to supply anything for the treatments themselves.

You provide the space

A quiet, private room where our practitioner can treat residents one at a time without interruption, and a booking schedule for the residents who would like a session. That is all we need from your facility.

The treatments we offer on-site

Available at every aged care visit

Remedial massage

Focused, treatment-based massage that targets specific areas of tension, tightness and discomfort. Useful for neck, shoulder and lower back tension, restricted movement, and muscular aches that build up from work, posture or daily activity.

Relaxation massage

Gentle, flowing massage designed to ease overall muscular tension and promote a sense of calm. A good option where the goal is general relaxation and wellbeing rather than treatment of a specific complaint.

Dry needling

Fine needles applied to tight muscular trigger points to help release tension and reduce muscular pain, where clinically appropriate. Dry needling is offered as part of a myotherapy treatment and is always discussed and consented to beforehand.

How an aged care visit works

We work with your facility to build a simple booking sheet so each resident has their own 30-minute slot. Treatments are delivered gently and adapted to each resident, and we pack down and leave the room exactly as we found it.
