TEAM

Priyanka Joshi

Priyanka is an AHPRA-registered Physiotherapist with a strong clinical focus on the assessment and treatment of headaches and migraines.

She has completed both Level One Foundation and Level Two Consolidation training through the Watson Headache® Institute, with advanced education in cervicogenic headache and the role of the upper cervical spine, particularly C one to C three, in primary headache presentations.

Through her Watson Headache® training, Priyanka has developed advanced skills in the assessment and management of people experiencing migraines, cervicogenic headaches, tension-type headaches, recurrent headaches, neck-related headaches and other headache presentations where the upper cervical spine may be contributing to symptoms.

Her Level Two training further consolidated the foundations developed in Level One, with a strong practical focus on assessing headache patients, clinical reasoning, cervical examination, patient education and hands-on management.

Priyanka has a particular interest in understanding the individual drivers behind a person’s headaches rather than simply treating where the pain is felt. Her approach considers the relationship between the upper cervical spine and the headache presentation, alongside movement, function and other contributing musculoskeletal factors.

Beyond her headache and migraine work, Priyanka holds a Master’s in Advanced Clinical Physiotherapy (Sports) from the University of South Australia and has experience across Melbourne, Adelaide and India, including private practice, TAC, WorkCover and NDIS.

Outside the clinic, Priyanka is a runner, keen trekker and certified two-hundred-hour Yoga Teacher. She has completed Everest Base Camp and hopes to one day reach the summit of Mount Everest.
