Tomomi is a Remedial Massage Therapist and a highly trained Manual Lymph Drainage therapist who completed the internationally recognised Dr Vodder School program. She brings a deep passion for lymphatic health and ongoing education to every treatment, always looking for the best ways to support her clients through evidence based care.
Her clinical focus has grown strongly in lymphoedema and oncology related care, which led to her becoming an Australasian Lymphology Association ALA accredited Lymphoedema Practitioner. She works confidently with clients living with lymphoedema, lipoedema and phleboedema (more commonly known as phlebolymphedema, is a condition of swelling in the lower legs caused by a combination of poor vein circulation and a damaged lymphatic system. It results from chronic venous insufficiency CVI where the veins cannot effectively push blood back to the heart, causing fluid to leak into the tissues. This fluid buildup is compounded by the lymphatic system’s inability to drain it, leading to edema in the legs, ankles and feet), and provides targeted MLD to help with acute and chronic inflammation, pain, post surgical recovery, sprains, arthritis, chronic sinus issues, wound healing and long term symptom management.
Her background is beautifully well rounded. She holds a Bachelor of Health Science in Clinical Nutrition and a Diploma of Clinical Aromatherapy. She also brings years of experience from five star hotel spas, giving her a naturally calming and nurturing touch that blends effortlessly with her strong clinical skills.
